Black Boots Ink.

I did an interview for Black Boots Ink.  You should go check it out.  It's on their blog or you can click here.  Black Boots Ink is an amazing group of people.  If nothing else just go and look around their page.  Also, they might do a workshop in Arizona.  If they do, you should come out to it.  I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.  Emilio Banuelos will be one of the instructors. He is an amazing photographer and an all around good person.

The Married Life.

I just got married on Dec. 13th.  That kind of distracted me from updating anything on here.  That and the fact the wedding photographer, Chadwick Fowler, let me have all the raw files and edit them however I want.  Oh man, that took forever to knock out 140 photo's.  He gave me 2,000+ pictures.  I still have a lot of editing to do.

On Dec. 28th through Jan. 4th we will be in San Francisco for our honeymoon.  It's going to be amazing.  I miss the Bay!  Once I get back you'll be seeing a lot of pictures.  Being in the Bay for one week, I'll be coming back with a lot of photos.

One last thing, my wife is starting to take pictures!  That makes me very happy.  Maybe someday soon you'll see a "dfullmer" blog and/or website.

Time To Kill.

I had about an hour to kill while I was in Downtown Phoenix so I walked around a little.  Actually I drove around. This big red brick building just called my name when I drove past it so I had to stop.  I wish I could remember exactly where it was cause I'd like to bring someone there to put in front of it.

Wedding.

I was assisting Chadwick Fowler at a wedding.  I got to run around for a little bit taking some pictures.  Most of the time I was hoding a softbox.

Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts.

I got to go snap some pictures at the Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts (aka PAPA) in downtown Phoenix. It was a lot of fun! There were lots of interesting people and costumes. If you didn't check it out this year, you have to next year!

Young Menace.

Saturday night was the Young Menace show at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale.  The show was really good.  Young Menace killed it.  Sadly I was having some camera troubles and I wasn't happy with a single image that came from the show.

FangBANGERS.

It's always a good time at Cheap Thrills but FangBANGERS (aka Halloween night) was amazing!

Early Halloween.

Thursday night I went to a friends Halloween party.  Of course I brought my camera.  Good thing I did cause I saw the best Hunter S. Thompson costume ever.  I think it was mainly because JJ had a very stretchy face just like Johnny Depp in Fear And Loathing.  The second picture was my picture of the night.

Great White.

One of the greatest days of my life happend last week.  I got to be the personal driver for the 80's hair metal band Great White.  They are great guys.  They do not have the stuck up "i'm better than you" attitude like you would imagine.  Real down to earth guys.  During their set I got to shoot the first three songs.  During the remaining set, I jammed out.  Who would have thought I would be rocking out to 80's hair metal live?

Arizona State Fair.

I took my son, his friend, fiance, and her sister to the State Fair.  The kids had a blast and I got to fill my belly with all kinds of junk food!

Ashley Tisdale & Microsoft.

Talk about shooting for the enemy.  About a week ago I shoot for Microsoft.  They just opened their very first store and it was here in Scottsdale, AZ.  I shoot the "red carpet" acting as paparazzi.  After all that Ashley Tisdale performed and I got to take some pictures.

It's Been Awhile.

I know I haven't updated in awhile.  I've been pretty busy.  I've got about 5 updates that are about to come your way.

Abandonment.

I know it's cliche to take pictures of abandoned building but I still love to do it. These were taken at Twin Arrows on Route 66. I randomly drove by it on my way to Winslow, AZ.

Tour de Fat.

Just got back from taking pictures at Tour de Fat at Tempe Town Lake. It was fun. Lot's of interesting people. Lots of drunk people for an event that went from 9am to 4pm. I guess that's what happens when you have an event sponsored by New Belgium beer (the makers of Fat Tire). The two pictures above got a little more post process work than the one's summited to PictureThisCity.

Black Boots Ink.

I would like to direct everyone to Black Boots Ink. Go and check it out. Emilio Bañuelos was a teacher of mine at the Academy or Art in San Francisco, CA. He inspired me more than he knows. He is an amazing teacher who actually pays attention and cares about his students. He is one of the founders of BBI. I attended the first BBI Workshop in Guadalajara Mexico. It was one of the best experiences of my life. If I have the chance I will attend another one. Also, if you view issue two of BBI you can find a picture or two of mine.

Nightlife.

Been doing lots nightlife photography lately. I love it. I've been working with PictureThisCity.com. They've been getting me into all the clubs/bars/events. You can go to their website and see my galleries. I've done one at SaddleRanch, McFadden's, and Black Forest Mill. So far Black Forest Mill has been my favorite. It was for Cheap Thrills. They have it every Saturday night. It's good times. If you are looking for something to do on a Saturday night then I suggest you head over there and check them out.
