Diamond Lifestyle Photography.

Starting a new company that will be specializing in event and music photography.  You can find us roaming the clubs, concerts, and bars taking pictures of everyone there.  We will also be doing corporate events, mingling with the suits.  Whatever your needs are, we can cover it.  In the past I've done everything from house parties to Greenbuild.  Website will be coming soon.  In the meantime you can follow our Facebook page.

Cayden.

Cayden is a dirt biking manic.  We went out to the desert and just let him loose.  He rode one footed.  He stood up while riding.  I know to most this sounds pretty basic but let me remind you that Cayden is only 4 years old.  It was the first time I've taken pictures of anyone dirtbiking which is a surprise since I live in Arizona and it seems like everyone dirtbikes here.  It was fun.  Looking forward to the next session.  Family photo's of Cayden and his mom will be coming next.

Side note:  he only did a lap or two without his helmet and shirt.  It was just for the picture.  If you are riding, I highly suggest you wear a helmet.  It's all about safety.

The Hester Kids.

Here's the Hester kids.  They were easy to shoot cause I get to see them all the time since Hugh is my son's best friend and hockey team mate.  Also, Isabell is by far the best baby you'll meet.  She's all smiles except when the camera is out.  Luckly we were able to squeeze a few miles (and lots of drool) out of her.

Side note, I really need to stay on top of updating this page.  I have so much stuff that I should be posting on here but never get around to it.  I've decided that Every Monday will be blog day.  Hopefully it'll be more than just once a week.

Portrait Session With Cassie.

Last week I took some portraits of Cassie. At my wife's bridal shower, one of the gifts was a portrait session with me.  The bridal shower was in early December.  I just found out about the prize about two weeks ago so we scheduled a session.  The wind did not want to work with us.  I don't think it's ever been that windy before so we scheduled another session.  One in studio and one more on location so she doesn't have to be holding her hair back in the pictures.  The second photo is one of my favorites and it was just a test shot too.  You have to love the happy accidents.

New Website.

I have a new website. It's currently not finished but you can preview it here.  It should be fully functional very soon.  I now have a site that has e-commerce capabilities which will help out when doing portraits and  club events.  People can just go view and order straight from there.  Also, later today or tomorrow I will have another post or two to add to here.  We just went and shot a "Tacky Wedding Party" at Hoot Owl for someone's birthday.  That was a lot of fun.  I have a few hundred pictures to go through since my wife and myself shot the event.

Hip Hop Open Mic Night.

Last night I went to open Open Mic night at Copper State Tavern.  As the night went on the talent got better and better.  The bottom emcee was, in my opinion, the best of the night.  He killed it!

iPhone Pictures.

I finally got an iPhone.  I also got a whole bunch of apps for editing photos.  I've narrowed them down to two apps that I like; Best Camera and Photoshop Mobile.  These are some of the recent photos taken with the new phone.  I feel bad for my friends on Facebook since I constantly upload photos straight from the phone to there.

It's Been Too Long.

I have stuff I need to update on here I just don't seem to have the time lately and when I do (like right now) I don't have my hard drive with me.  Soon I will be making more updates and hopefully soon my website will finally be updated!

I've recently dusted off my Lomo LC-A and found some expired Kodak e100vs.  Looking forward to using that and then cross processing it.  Once I do that and then scan the film I will post some pictures.  I also found some expired 120 film.  I think it's also e100vs.  That'll be run though a Holga sometime soon too.

Trains & Landscapes.

The wife and I drove around on Tuesday looking for something interesting to shoot.  We can across a train and some fun landscapes, well, desert landscapes.

San Francisco.

I love San Francisco.  I firmly believe that it is the greatest city.  Living there was the best experience of my life (besides getting married of course).  That place changed me.  Anyway, the wife and I went there on our honeymoon.  Above are a few pictures taken while we were there.  I had to include one of a pigeon.  If you've been there you will understand.  They run the city.  They don't move out of your way. You have to get out of there way!

Black Boots Ink.

I did an interview for Black Boots Ink.  You should go check it out.  It's on their blog or you can click here.  Black Boots Ink is an amazing group of people.  If nothing else just go and look around their page.  Also, they might do a workshop in Arizona.  If they do, you should come out to it.  I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.  Emilio Banuelos will be one of the instructors. He is an amazing photographer and an all around good person.

The Married Life.

I just got married on Dec. 13th.  That kind of distracted me from updating anything on here.  That and the fact the wedding photographer, Chadwick Fowler, let me have all the raw files and edit them however I want.  Oh man, that took forever to knock out 140 photo's.  He gave me 2,000+ pictures.  I still have a lot of editing to do.

On Dec. 28th through Jan. 4th we will be in San Francisco for our honeymoon.  It's going to be amazing.  I miss the Bay!  Once I get back you'll be seeing a lot of pictures.  Being in the Bay for one week, I'll be coming back with a lot of photos.

One last thing, my wife is starting to take pictures!  That makes me very happy.  Maybe someday soon you'll see a "dfullmer" blog and/or website.

Time To Kill.

I had about an hour to kill while I was in Downtown Phoenix so I walked around a little.  Actually I drove around. This big red brick building just called my name when I drove past it so I had to stop.  I wish I could remember exactly where it was cause I'd like to bring someone there to put in front of it.

Wedding.

I was assisting Chadwick Fowler at a wedding.  I got to run around for a little bit taking some pictures.  Most of the time I was hoding a softbox.

Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts.

I got to go snap some pictures at the Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts (aka PAPA) in downtown Phoenix. It was a lot of fun! There were lots of interesting people and costumes. If you didn't check it out this year, you have to next year!

Young Menace.

Saturday night was the Young Menace show at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale.  The show was really good.  Young Menace killed it.  Sadly I was having some camera troubles and I wasn't happy with a single image that came from the show.

FangBANGERS.

It's always a good time at Cheap Thrills but FangBANGERS (aka Halloween night) was amazing!

Early Halloween.

Thursday night I went to a friends Halloween party.  Of course I brought my camera.  Good thing I did cause I saw the best Hunter S. Thompson costume ever.  I think it was mainly because JJ had a very stretchy face just like Johnny Depp in Fear And Loathing.  The second picture was my picture of the night.

Great White.

One of the greatest days of my life happend last week.  I got to be the personal driver for the 80's hair metal band Great White.  They are great guys.  They do not have the stuck up "i'm better than you" attitude like you would imagine.  Real down to earth guys.  During their set I got to shoot the first three songs.  During the remaining set, I jammed out.  Who would have thought I would be rocking out to 80's hair metal live?
